Aakar Social Ventures utilizes donations to
manufacture compostable sanitary pads (Anandi),
distribute them to schoolgirls in rural communities,
and conduct regular menstrual hygiene and sexual
health education workshops.
Is my online payment secure? expand_more
Yes, all payments are encrypted and processed
securely via Razorpay, a certified PCI-DSS compliant
payment gateway. Aakar does not store any card or
bank credentials.
How do I claim tax benefits? expand_more
Absolutely. All donations made by Indian taxpayers
are 50% tax-exempt under Section 80G of the Income
Tax Act. The 80G receipt will be emailed to you
automatically after verification is complete.
Can foreign citizens donate? expand_more
Yes! If you are a foreign citizen, please select
"Foreign Citizen" in the Citizenship Status. We
process international donations in compliance with
regulatory standards.
