Refund Policy
At Aakar Social Ventures, we deeply appreciate your support and contributions to our mission of empowering women and building sustainable communities. Since your donations are immediately put to work in our grassroots programs, training initiatives, and community projects, we have established the following refund policy.
1. Non-Refundability of Donations
As a general rule, all donations made to Aakar Social Ventures are final and non-refundable. Donations are immediately utilized to fund our ongoing social development programs, and tax exemption certificates are issued accordingly.
2. Transaction Error Exceptions
We recognize that technical glitches or errors can occur during payment processing. In the event of a transaction error, such as a duplicate payment or incorrect amount processed due to a technical issue on the payment gateway, you may submit a refund request. Such request must be initiated within 7 days of the transaction date.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a transaction error, please email us at our official contact email with the subject line "Donation Refund Request". Your email must include the following details:

- check_circle Contact number
- check_circle Date of transaction
- check_circle Donation amount
- check_circle Razorpay Transaction ID / Payment Receipt Number
4. Timeline and Processing
Once we receive your request, our finance team will review the transaction details with our payment gateway partner. If the refund request is approved, the refund will be processed and credited back to the original payment method (credit card, debit card, UPI, or bank account) within 5 to 7 business days.
